Sorry, RCC, there is nothing about the Mass here in regard to the one faith. In fact of the one gospel that saves, there is nothing about baptism either- 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Not to worry, the RCC will find some way to drop their drop of poison in somewhere.
Do you notice the Triune Godhead in evidence here? One Spirit, one Lord, and one God? Hmmmm? Nothing about denominations either? One hope? That Would mean that the RCC is part of the body of Christ even though they do not know what that means. They tie that somehow into the Eucharist. No where even close. Try sizing up 1st Corinthians 12:11. In Part 2, how about one baptism?
My home Church paid our pastor $50,000 a year. He also received a parsonage as part of his benefit package. Our new pastor wanted more so he rejected the parsonage and bought himself a larger home complete with a bar and that should have told us all something. A few churches don’t pay their Pastor any salary. They work at a secular job and preach on Sunday. The separation of church and state began largely to assist small churches succeed. It was never intended for mega churches. Why? These two” parsonages” belong to Joyce Meyers and Joel Osteen. Are they living anything like their members? Why wouldn’t someone want to be in Ministry with perks like this? It all goes back to Jeremiah 5:30-31. An astonishing and horrible thing has been committed in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely, the priest rule by their own power, and my people love to have it so. Do you see the problem? Those that support the pastor love to have it so. Jesus and his apostles and the Apostle Paul suffered hardship during their life. Jesus had no place to lay his head and remember there was no room for him at the inn. It looks like he might have had a little room for himself at either Joyce Meyers or Joel Osteen’s home. I’m starting to believe the churches should pay their fair share of tax.
Remember Barney Fife’s phrase,he said Nip it in the bud? How about zip it in the church for ladies? Oh, I can hear the feminist coming out of the woodwork on this one but unfortunately it’s biblical.
Man is the head of woman according to First Corinthians 11:3 and you will find the other order there as well. This is not a feminist issue. But it is a Rebellion issue.
Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Try to cut your way out of that one. If your rebellious and stubborn to the word of God then you are in sin. Can women teach other women or children? Absolutely! But they are not to be in authority over men in the church. That brings up another issue as in many Pentecostal churches women speak in tongues. If they are to remain silent in the church, how can they speak in tongues out loud? If you are going to obey scripture you have to obey all of it and you can’t pick and choose the ones that you say are the word of God. You either believe in the Bible or yourself.
The Catholic Church began in about 334 AD making it the oldest church. They came with baggage. The myth of apostolic succession for one. A bishop must be the husband of one wife was a rejection of the word of God for celibacy. An elder likewise. Their abracadabra communion service. Hebrews 10:10 states plainly that Christ was sacrificed once for all. Catholics dispute this. All this baggage was carried to the Council at Trent and this is how the church looked after that. A little like the leaning tower of Pisa. More tradition was added in to weaken the Bible. The RCC could justify nearly every doctrine with their tradition. Corruption at the highest levels hit Rome. As the church bearded the 1960 era no more Latin homilies. A new catechism that carried the Catholics own definitions of words. What with the child molestation crisis and coverup of the last 40 years plus the current financial scandal at the Vatican City, here is the Catholic Church today. IF THE FOUNDATIONS ARE DESTROYED, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO? Make a mass exodus out of the Catholic Church to a non denominational Bible Church.
Each year since the child molestation story broke some four years ago the Catholic treasury has gathered less and less income. That on top of the current Vatican financial scandal and poor real estate deals could have the RCC in financial foreclosure by 2023. Complete parishes are closing due to molestations which is not all the Catholics fault as the Homosexual Agenda has targeted that church, among the Southern Baptist and Pentecostal Church USA, with bringing them down. Where all three lacked was there lack of spiritual discernment.
BE SURE YOUR SIN WILL FIND YOU OUT. The Eucharist was celebrated with the same hands that alazacadamned the wafer and the sexual parts of children. How could any agency cover up an abominable crime like that? WILL YOU COMMIT ADULTERY AND THEN COME AND STAND IN THIS HOUSE WHICH IS CALLED BY MY NAME AND SAY WE ARE DELIVERED TO DO ALL Of THESE ABOMINATIONS? From Jeremiahs temple sermon in Chapter7.
As for the Roman Catholic and Pentecostal churches in particular, NEITHER YOUR SILVER NOR YOUR GOLD SHALL DELIVER YOU IN THE DAY OF THE LORDS WRATH.
I have a friend that is caught in this kind of mess. They have a leader that says if you leave his church, you lose your salvation. That is a prime definition of a cult. This group also says you are saved by works. The Mormons also say this about themselves. This group lines up with Mormonism in more ways than one. So far, this bunch of believers is under the influence of Satan. And because they did not love the truth, God has sent them strong delusion that they should believe the lie.The body of Christ is not one denomination as there are Overcomers from many denominations. There’s an old expression, begin Where You Are, but don’t stay there. The Bible says, In vain they worship me teaching as teaching as doctrines the Commandments of men. There are many man-made rules in this church. They also don’t believe in a permanent hell and the Mormons don’t either. But if you read Revelation, Gahanna is the permanent place of punishment throughout eternity. I’ll have more in Park Two.
Join these three teachings with Ephesians 2:8-9. By Grace you have been saved through faith, it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. Now you have the biblical teachings about Grace plus nothing. The passage in James implies Grace needs works but that was meant for Jewish believers. When Jesus Christ said it is finished he meant finished. He did it all for us and no amount of work can save us. It’s Grace plus nothing. I will break this down in part 3.
For the body of Christ it is Grace Plus NOTHING. Some believe this is a contradiction with the book of James. Here is a verse from James.
James says faith without works is dead. Is there a contradiction? Absolutely not! How can that be? Ephesians 2:8 says, NOT OF WORKS lest any man should boast. But James says, faith without works is dead. On the surface it does appear to be a contradiction but the word of God does not contradict itself. What most people do not realize is that Paul was writing to the body of Christ and James was writing to Israel. How do I know this to be true? Let’s examine James 1:1.
James was writing to the 12 tribes of Israel scattered among the Nations and that is not the body of Christ. The Twelve Tribes relates directly to Israel not the body of Christ. Israel or Judaism more precisely believes in a works salvation as does the Mormon church and the Restored Church of God. The latter Church believe that America is Ephraim and that they are spiritual Israel which opens up on another whole can of worms. About the Apostle Paul Who is the Apostle to the Gentiles or the body of Christ says it is grace alone that saves. But Ephesians 2:8 is not the only evidence of grace alone and not it works text as we shall see in part 2 of the series.
Should the church be celebrating the seven feasts of Israel? What does New Testament Doctrine tell us?
Is the Apostle Paul referring to the feasts and celebrations of the Jewish calendar? I believe he is telling us that we are not to go back to Egypt spiritually or into a bondage of the feast days and new moons that Israel celebrated and does celebrate. All of these occurred under the law of Moses and were a shadow of things to come
. These are what Israel celebrated in the past and also presently. But are they for the Christian to celebrate? There are two areas of thought on this.
The Feast of Israel should not be forced on any member of the body of Christ. If they desire to participate that is an individual decision but not a corporate one. I will continue this discussion in part 2.
Level 1 is what most churches should be wary of. I call this level The Ecumenical Smokescreen. It is Islam appears to be like whitewashed tombs. Beautiful outwardly, but inside full of hypocrisy and dead men’s bones. This is how they are fooling the very gullible church. Once they gain that coveted footstep all hell breaks loose.
They become threatening, demanding, and intolerant. This is Chrislam unmasked. Now is the time to stop them. Rick Warren has been apostate for sometime now and should return to Bible study. Pray that America will wake up and soon.
Yes we are all one in Christ Jesus. There are still differences in office such as a pastor must be a man according to 1st Timothy. He shall be the husband of one wife. It never says the wife of one husband. Yet we are all one in Christ Jesus. There is male and female in Christ Jesus. But as to the makeup of the church, the man is in charge of the leadership role of the church. Can a woman teach? Absolutely for where would a church be without its female teachers? Church administration is the exception. This doesn’t hold true today as there are many women pastors. There is no reference in scripture to support that. But it happens anyway. How about a discussion on this point but please keep it biblical. Personal opinions aside only scripture manners in the leadership role of the church. The floor is open for discussion.
When Tim Andreanopolous and I co-pastored a church near the Speedway in Indianapolis, our service day was Saturday. We were allowed six day usage of a Church of the General Baptist that had very few members left. The church could seat about 150 and had a baptismal tank in the front. It was a non-denominational Bible Church that we called Gods Truth. We held to the sabbath day. I wanted to provide Pope Francis to give his reason for changing the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Our Norte Dame Fighting Irish could only play their football season on Saturday so the Lord came to me to reason together. We opted to keep Sunday holy and Saturday football. Besides the Saints also play on Sunday Just In case. And the Professional Golf Association offers 18 holies every Sunday. We’ve got you covered.
