Media FALSE Witness

I love it when the media reports a story and then says, NBC cannot confirm this report. They put the cart before the horse. They first report the story and then say they can’t confirm it but the public already heard it. Do you see the hypocracy here? Look at these statistics! The key to the commandment about bearing false witness is the word FALSE. Yet they hope the word may be confirmed. This is news reporting at its worst. The public hears what they have to say and then as an afterthought they say they haven’t confirmed the story or the source. When fake news hits the media here’s what happens. An Avalanche of false stories come about. News reporting has got it wrong as they can’t wait to get a breaking story first on the air. If it’s missing all the facts so what? The news media is more interested in ratings than in truth. Matt Lauer of NBC News found out what it’s like to be on the receiving end of news that is half true. It’s similar to the New Apostolic Reformation which has a 20% accuracy rate on their predictions. Yet they want to be taken seriously. How many believers are in the news media? Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Good scriptural truth but is anyone out there listening?

Soil and Water- 1

The seed is planted on hard soil and that thus is blown away by the wind. It never had a chance to take root. This is similar to the first water depth in Ezekiel 47. For a novice swimmer, they go into ankle-deep water and get scared. They run back onto land. It’s hard to swim in ankle-deep water. And it’s nearly impossible to plant seed on hard ground with no moisture. It would be a collective waste of time to do so. All your effort would come to nothing. What of the next soil and water depth? That comes your way in part 2

FOR PREACHERS PREACHINGLY WRONGLY

How would Y O U like to be on the receiving end of that rebuke of your ministry. Many Pentecostals say that Jesus lived high on the hog yet the Bible says he had nowhere to lay his head. What started at the inn continued throughout His life. Jesus lived spiritually wealthy but not by how the world viewed Him. He knew the riches of prayer, communication with God. You cannot serve God and money Matthew 6:24.

Do you remember the 70 He endued with power on high? They came back rejoicing that even the demons were powerless before the . He rebuked them saying, Do not rejoice that the demons are powerless before you but REJOICE BECAUSE YOUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.

Jesus and the apostles lived right side up in an upside down world. Of that world Jesus asked two questions. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or, what will a man give in exchange for his soul? HOW dABOUT A CRUCIFIED LIFE FOR CHRIST?

JUDGE FRANK CAPRIO

Here is a man I would be honored to meet. His name is Frank Caprio. He operates a court in Providence, Rhode Island and is one of the most compassionate men that I’ve ever seen. He has a daily courtroom program called Caught in Providence where he presides with one of the most compassionate hearts that I’ve ever seen. He also quotes scripture.

I’m not sure if he’s a Catholic or not but his family is from Italy. If so he would have the greatest heart since Brother Gerald Warner.

I would highly recommend following Judge Caprio on his syndicated program or on the Internet. Last year he was honored to throw out the first ball at a Boston Red Sox game at legendary Fenwick Park. He practiced a whole week before the game. The judge has been married over 50 years and is 82 years old.

Face to Face

Galatians-5-17-Carnal-Jacob-Or-S Everyone in the body of Christ has faced this issue. This is a spiritual tug of war between flesh and spirit. Those in the spirit have crucified the flesh with its lusts and desires. The flesh and the spirit are contrary one to the other. It’s similar to you having the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other each telling you to do good or bad. I’m sure you all know what I mean. This is the difference to me between the law of Moses and the Holy Ghost. You have to remember that those under the law of Moses are indebted to keep the whole law. For the body of Christ, the Holy Ghost convicts us of our sins. Are you operating under the power of the Holy Ghost or of the flesh?

Deuteronomy and Children

The time period we are living in is known as the millennials. These are children who are not brought up in the admonition of the Lord. They will become a Godless generation unless there is an intervention by Christians and or Judaism.

A right relationship with God was to be stalked about by Israeli parents to their children. It was should be an ongoing event involving every aspect of a child’s life. That was the parents responsibility to their children. Today we have parents allowing their children to accept any religion they want and the parents responsibility goes out the window. The Bible does not teach that.

Israeli parents must impress upon their children the importance of knowing God and establishing a Right relationship with him. Worship of God must become part of their child’s daily schedule. Train up a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from the way. This is what Millennial children must also understand as parents. Without this training a Godless Society is on the horizon.

My Church

I have a friend that keeps asking me what church I attend. I am one of the teachers at Examining Scriptures which unlike most churches is strictly Bible based. Remarkably, our membership is small. There are twenty-two of us. Our interests are in building spiritually strong members. We witness as a group once per week in a neighborhood two members per team and have never had less than seven teams go out.

Our worship center is at an old baptist church and our worship morning is Saturday. We begin with praise on a wide variety of music. There is no choir so we all sing. Prior to Praise we open our worship with prayer. I am presently teaching a series on twos. After our praise, we have an Old Testament reading. It was from 1 Kings 18:21. A New Testament reading follows and it was from John 4:22-24. Then one of our ladies offers a song.

Then the teaching follows. I examined the difference from serving the Lord and Baal. How long will you falter between two opinions?  We study the Hebrew words in the passage and then put forth the result. Next week Stan will be doing a teaching in Matthew using a chiasm.

After a time of fellowship in the community room, usually a lunch prepared for by our ladies, we bathe ourselves in prayer while two members remain behind to clean and take care of the offerings. They are never mentioned in the service as we leave them at the back of the church.

Next week Brother Paul said his nephew will be joining us in membership. Our witnessing teams go out on Sunday evenings for about an hour and a half.

Do YOU Count Your Blessings One by One?

Do you count your blessings one by one? This morning I thought I would provide you with the song about counting your blessings one by one. blessings I hear raindrops outside my window this morning so the Earth is getting the blessing of refreshment and growth. Today make a special effort to count your blessings. And as John Luc Picard used to say, make it so!
