PRAYER TO MARY IS UNBIBLICAL

If prayer to Mary is unbiblical, why do Catholics do it?

That is simple, because Catholics are unbiblical. Worse yet by praying to Mary and the saints, they are unbiblical by practicing idolatry and necromancy. Catholics love to do things that are not found in the Bible. They add things into the word of God. By the word of man. But didn’t Peter say, We ought to obey God and not man. Must have been some other Peter? I am certain

1 Cor. 4:6. that you may learn not to go beyond the things which are written A. 1 Corinthians 4:6 – that you may learn not to go beyond the things which are written – beyond. Paul writing to Christians and he is well aware that people are coming in the church trying to teach all different kinds of things (mix old and new laws). And here he says, you need to stick to what has been written down as God’s holy Word. Do exactly what the word says, do nothing beyond what the word teaches. – we learn this idea of not going beyond the law as young people. John don’t go there, don’t do that – God says to His children: don’t go here, don’t do this, don’t go beyond what I have taught you.

Catholics really hate these verses but not as much as this one. This verse really bugs Catholics. And it should!  Even The Holy Spirit Acts on our behalf when we don’t know what to pray for. I  think the Catholics better come on the biblical side of scripture.

  1. Actually the Catholic Church, which gave the Holy Spirit inspired Bible to the world at the Catholic Council of Carthage in 397 A.D..LOVES the Bible! ALL of the Bible! Including the 6 books that the Reformers took away from the bible 11 centuries later in 1532 A.D. And the Catholic Church loves Luke 1:28 and luke 1: 42. These are the scriptures from which we got the beautiful Hail Mary and, in the praying of which, all generations of Catholics have called Mary, NEVER divine, but..”Blessed.” Just as she prophesied that we would in Luke 1: 48. So..we did not “add” the Hail Mary TO the bible. We got the Hail Mary FROM the bible!
But you knew all that. I guess that I should thank you for repeating this old, anti-Catholic stereotype over and over again. That gives me the opportunity to set the record straight over and over again.

  2. So it is bad of the Catholics to pray the scriptures? Like..”Hail (Mary) full of grace the Lord is with you.” (Lk.1:28)? And..”Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” (Lk.1:43)? Which is a prayer of the rosary. Oh. And the Lord’s prayer is another prayer of the Rosary. Which..Jesus Christ, in the Bible, TOLD us to pray! Sorry Dave. But this Catholic will ignore you and keep on praying the scriptures.

  3. A baby Christan always say things he knows nothing about: do Catholics do things beyond the Bible? I pity you, Catholics don’t do things beyond the scripture it is you who do it. Check yourselves: the Bible says “whoever relapses these laws and teaches men so shall least in the kingdom of God”. Now you always take things of God with levity not know or sure of what you are doing at all. How can you say that of the Catholic Church, when all you know how to practice your Christianity is to copy from Catholic Church, as I said before check yourselves, do you know anything about, Holy Trinity, arrangement of the old and new testaments, others gospels were rejected, heretics, or about Christmas, Easter, Sunday as the day of the Lord etc. Once again, check yourselves, you criticizers and not working with the Holy Spirit, but always resisting Him and whatever He reveals according to the Divine Will of God, who according to the scripture, leading us or the Church of Christ to the complete truth, which cannot be our human calculation. Don’t behave like people of Israel, but open up enough to prompting of God, and not close your heart to salvation.

  4. Thankyou. But Adonissunday your concerns about the Catholic Church teachings has a simple answer.. They are NOT Catholic Church teachings! – They were not taught to you by the Catholic Church. They were taught you by..Anti-Catholics! How fair is that? You question our belief in the Trinity. The Catholic Church believes in and has defended the teaching of the Trinity against Heretics for centuries, like Arias, long before any Protestant Church even existed! And the Catholic Church gave the Holy Spirit inspired Bible, O.T. and N.T. to the world at the Catholic Council of Carthage in 397 A.D. You are welcome! And Catholics.. resist the Holy Spirit? Never. “Jesus said. “AS the Father has sent me I now send YOU.” When He had said this He breathed on them and said, “Receive the HOLY SPIRIT. Whoever’s sins YOU forgive shall be forgiven.” (John 20:21-23) So..who is “resisting the Holy Spirit”? Catholics would have no sacrament of Confession without the HOLY SPIRIT! Please don’t close your heart to this very clear teaching of Jesus!
As an Agnostic, I did not go to the Catholics to learn Protestantism. I did the fair thing. I went to the Protestants to learn Protestantism! And when I wanted to learn Catholicism, I did the fair thing. I went to the Catholics to learn Catholicism. I suggest that you too do the fair thing. Go to the Catholics to learn the REAL..Catholicism. And you shall know the truth..
